1.1 Information We Need

Personal information will be needed when you register a new account, such as the email address and phone number saved under your account. You may also provide other information such as a third-party account and avatar when you use sharing or third-party login features.

1.2 Information Acquired When Using the Service

We will collect some service information, including:

• Log Information

  We collect information automatically and save it to the server log or write it into the phone's external storage, such as:

  • Errors or abnormal conditions produced when using the app.
  • When a breakdown occurs during processing, we will put the error logs into the external storage device. Users may choose whether to send them to us or not.

• Local Storage

  • The user's screenshots or recording files will be stored on the phone's external storage.
  • Data cache and user data will be stored in a local database for processing.

2. How We Use the Collected Information

• Reset the outbound call route

  • Some special devices can dial out the user's phone. This application needs to sense the phone's incoming-call or outgoing-call state when sending or hanging up a video request.

• Photos/Video and Recording

  • When the app receives a video call request from another device, data captured from the camera and microphone needs to be sent out.
  • When adding devices such as NVRs, the camera is used to scan QR codes to add new devices to the network and retrieve the configuration data.

• Read, modify, and delete content on USB storage

  • Allows users to take screenshots and save them to the storage device while watching the camera stream. Saved content can be viewed inside the app.

• Check/alter network connections and full internet access permission

  • Required to read network information when configuring the camera and to provide users with limited account-system functionality.

• Allow WLAN multicast reception

  • Other cameras on the same LAN can be discovered, and data can be exchanged with cameras that have not yet been added via WLAN multicast.

• Modify system settings

  • Some setting options are offered to the user, such as auto-start and mute during video monitoring.

• Software update notifications

• Inviting you to participate in research about our products and services

3. Information Security

• Your personal information will only be retained for as long as required by this Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
• We use various security technologies and procedures to prevent information from being lost, misused, accessed, or disclosed without authorization. For example, we use encryption (SSL) to protect your personal information for certain services. Please understand, however, that no security measure is absolutely perfect — there are technical limitations and malicious actors on the internet, even though we do our best.
