Guide to adding cameras in a LAN without a router
Open Menu → Network Settings → Advanced → DHCP Server → Turn on DHCP Server → Close the window → Click OK → Wait for the recorder to restart.
Reason for enabling DHCP: When DHCP is enabled, the PoE recorder assigns a static IP address to the camera. The camera and host must be in the same network.
In an external network environment, the DHCP service must be forcibly turned off. The external network may have its own DHCP server, and if the recorder's DHCP service is on, it may cause IP address conflicts and the camera cannot be searched.
If the camera has been connected before this operation, please disconnect and reconnect the camera.
