How to add a WiFi camera

Pair a WiFi camera with your NVR using QR code scanning or the reset button

There are two ways to add a WiFi camera to your NVR. Choose whichever method is more convenient for you.

Method 1: Scan QR Code Pairing

  1. Power on the camera. It takes about 30 seconds to finish the self-test. After reset, the camera will beep, indicating it is waiting to connect.

  2. Open the NVR system desktop, click the "+" symbol in the lower left corner, click "Add Device", and select "Scan QR Code Pairing".

  3. Aim the camera lens at the QR code, keeping a distance of 20–60 cm. The camera will sound a "ding", indicating that pairing is in progress. Wait about 10 seconds; a second beep indicates pairing success.

Do not close the QR code window during pairing, or the camera pairing will fail.

Method 2: Button Pairing

  1. Power on the camera. It takes about 30 seconds to finish the self-test. After reset, the camera will beep, indicating it is waiting to connect.

  2. Open the NVR system desktop, click the "+" symbol in the lower left corner, click "Add Device", and select "Button Pairing".

  3. Quickly press the camera's reset button 5 times in a row. A "ding" sound indicates pairing success.
